Did you know that Mastodon is only part of the fediverse?
For example, you can share and comment videos on PeerTube :
Similarly, there is Pleroma, another microblogging tool that allows you to share with Mastodon:
And even Funkwhale a social platform to enjoy and share music :
This is in response to some of the #Birdsite threads on Mastodon move.
Indian Right wings digital asset investment is mostly on 2 platforms , Twitter and WhatsApp.
#Introduction Hello Mastodonians (which I hope is a word you like), my name is Ramya Pandyan. I'm a writer, occasional stage performer, purveyor of all things colourful. I live in Mumbai which is also my identity, my cross to bear and my family. I've been blogging since 2004, a journey that led me into other social platforms, a career in digital and a new identity.
I'm going to toot about #Mastodon (for the benefit of my birdsite community), some poetry, plenty of saree and lipstick pics.

I'm laughing so much I'm crying. The public cheering a applauding him, the journalist reaction, evrything is killing me.
Hi #fediverse, I'm an illustrator and graphic designer based out of New Delhi. Through editorial illustration, fiction and non-fiction comics I look at intersections of visual design + research with contemporary politics, social and human rights issues.
I also make political comics compiled under #politricks on most social media platforms. Links where they're supposed to be if you're interested :)
Hello everyone, I'm an electronics engineer, just a common Indian, here to freely toot out my opinionated mind. I like to remain updated about current politics, extremely interested in it. Trying to be an ardent reader, love to explore different genres. I love poetry/poems ( though I can't write one) and Music is my saviour.
I like to connect with people of different opinions(are always welcome), but I hate fascists/fascism/dictators and all who belong to this category.
@Deepsealioness hey, I am a PhD researcher of gender studies, working on feminist movements. I'm here as everyone, away from the fascist eyes, and to create a new safe space. I'm hoping to build a community of researchers/activists/artivists/ and anyone who would want to engage. Would love some reach. Also thanks for the effort to connect peeps!
@Deepsealioness hey! I just migrated from birdsite. I'm a researcher on postcolonial history and gender studies, although I rarely talk about it. Here to create anarchy, spread discontent and share some good writing.
Hello @Deepsealioness .
I'm a journalist on the crime beat with The Hindu, a part time stand up comic and lover of words who believes cooking is therapy. 😁.
Avid media consumer, I like to share what I heard, read, watched or played.
